Upper Level Team Registration dates are August 13th-August 31st 2019

Mite Registration dates are August 13th - October 31st 2019

This registration session will allow you to sign consents, complete contact information and submit payment. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available. Registration works best from a computer, and not a portable device (iPad, Tablet, Cell Phone). If you have trouble uploading documents from one of these devices, please do so from a computer.

Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from SN South St.

All Hockey fees for the 2019-2020 season include pre-try out warm up sessions, tournament gate fees and the District tournament fees. This year, registration will include an up-front $70 (per family) fee to help  the Association with our dinner/silent auction fundraiser. Each family will receive 10 tickets at $7 each. Families can sell these tickets to friends, family or co-workers and easily get return on your up-front $70 fee. This will replace team donations for team gift baskets.

First Year Players

If you are a first year Mite, or have not played with SSPYHA before, you will need to upload a birth certificate in order to complete registration.

ALL First Year Mites who have not skated for the SSPYHA Mite Program previously will receive their first season of Mite Hockey FREE

In order to register for First Year Mites, skaters must be able to stand on the ice unsupported, skate forward the length of the ice, and have the ability to get themselves up from their hands and knees on their own. If your child does not have these skills, your child will need to learn these skills prior to registering. Support walkers are not allowed on the ice. While SSPYHA highly recommends that you choose Blades n Motion for your Learn to Skate needs, you are not required to go through that program in order to register for First Year Mites. The goal is for your child to be able to skate prior to being a First Year Mite. Where you register your child for Learn to Skate is your choice. You do not need to present proof of completion from any program prior to registering.

If you believe that your child is ready for First Year Mites; however, it is later learned that they do not yet have the basic skills to participate in the First Year Mite Program, you will be required to enroll your child in some type of Learn to Skate program. In this event, participation in the Mites program will cease, until your child can meet the necessary criteria.

A pre-season sneak peek will take place in October. At that time, parents can bring their First Year Mite eligible children to Woog Arena for treats and a free hour of skating. During that time, our Coaches will observe your child on the ice to make sure that they are ready for First Year Mites. At that time, the Coaches will communicate any issues with you. The Returning Mites will also be on the ice at that time, so you will be able to observe the basic skill level for the Returning Mites. Coaches and SSPHYA Board Members will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have regarding the program, equipment, or registration. First Year Mites have the option of enrolling in the Blades n’ Motion Fall Mite Development Class. Skaters are not required complete this class in order to register for the First Year Mite Program; however, this is a GREAT way to get your kids Mite ready for the 2019-2020 season. Click here for more information on Blades n’ Motion

Past Due Accounts
